‎'Snow is expected to fall in northern England and Wales today as a cold air from the Arctic hits Britain. The country has already seen frost but brace yourself to be genuinely freezing as temperatures drop, the wind chill factor kicks in and snow flurries...' eeeeep must get bloody good coat!!!

The dirty (not so) little town on the Thames...

So... I've been here for 2 weeks now. The weather has been kind so far with only 2 afternoons of rain. The rest mostly juust cloudy with a few sunny days thrown in. I hAvent done much touristy stuff yet but have been to harrods a few times and seen Piccadilly circus. Going to look into doing some walking tours so I can producers myself with a bit of the city. I'm currently staying a 9 bedroom guesthouse in Hammersmith. This is a largely Aussie kiwi area. The guesthouse is quite nice, my room is small but decent, shared bathroom between myself and another girl plus shared kitchen with the whole house. Made 1 friend in the house but the rest of the people her keep to themselves really. I'll be here till the 7th nov so have to look for a place to live and work.
So far I've had one celebrity spotting experience which was a little embarrassing but quite funny at the time. I was in Selfridges on Oxford St and I saw Hayden panatierre (for those of who don't know who she is, she an American celebrity who is best known for her role as the blonde cheer leader on The tv show Heroes). I proceeded to try to sneakily take a pic of her with my phone but (not surprisingly as im quite unco) I was caught by her security dude and was told to "shut that phone off, that's not cool". I think my face turned bright red. So that's my embarrassing story for the moment.
